As a not-for-profit provider dedicated to supporting people with autism and other developmental disabilities, Brightway Living & Learning strongly endorses the “Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act.” 

 

 This bipartisan legislation gives Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) a dedicated code within the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. Currently, the federal government groups DSPs into an "all other" category with unrelated jobs, making data tracking nearly impossible...

Celebrating DSP Recognition Week

Brightway, is proud to celebrate National Direct Support Professional Recognition (DSP) Week. This year’s celebration featured a series of special events following the theme “Brightway Navigators, Charting the Course”, including a BBQ celebration for staff to enjoy a fun-filled day with food, games, music, and activities designed to show appreciation and foster community.

Honoring Brightway

Brightway Living & Learning was honored to be selected as a Non-Profit Business Finalist in the 32nd Annual Business Distinction Awards competition conducted by HIA-LI. It was a pleasure to be recognized amongst all of the amazing finalists. Brightway leadership accepted the award during a ceremony at the Crest Hollow Country Club.

 

We would also like to extend our congratulations to the winner, United Veterans Beacon House on their well-deserved honor.
