Main Street Masterpieces

Original art by Brightway artists. Right here in Smithtown.

Since 2008, original artwork has been hanging on the walls of a small gallery at 9 West Main Street in Smithtown. Paintings, sculptures, and themed collections that rotate throughout the year, all of which are made by participants in Brightway's Adult Day Services program, working individually and together.

The gallery is located in the heart of Smithtown and is open to the public for viewing.

On the Walls Now

The Cottage on Main

This artwork, a collaborative effort with the talented children and adults we support, invites viewers to step away from the rush of modern life and rediscover the beauty and joy found in life's simplest moments and activities.

See something you love? Every sale goes directly to the artist.

The People Behind the Work

The artists showing at Main Street Masterpieces spend their days at Brightway's Adult Day Services program, where the work doesn't stop at life skills. It extends into culinary arts, movement, horticulture, technology, and yes, a studio practice that produces the work you're looking at right now.

Some pieces are made solo. Others come from artists collaborating across programs around a shared theme—building something together that neither could make alone.

When a piece sells, the artist keeps everything. No overhead taken, no administrative cut. The money goes to the person who made it.

It is a practice we’re proud to uphold.
